Dez Einswell at SURU, Los Angeles

The kids at SURU in Los Angeles have the very talented Dez Einswell in a solo show called Destination Unknown. Opening tomorrow, March 29th, Einswell will display works from his Doodlebarn series.
Dez Einswell’s fascination with art began at an early age. A doodler by nature, he experimented with different mediums to convey the interpretations of his world. Over the years, his artistic passion led him into creating an entire universe of fictional characters.
The Doodlebarn inhabitants explore their elaborate world through silly, dark, and unconventional ways, living in an untroubled and liberated time. Man, we wish we lived in The Doodlebarn!
It’s almost impossible to ignore the tremendous fusion of color, skill, and thought-provoking images that Einswell brings to life with The Doodlebarn. One instantly becomes entranced by the intricacy in his work and for a moment escapes into the long-forgotten and often desired world of youth, complete with a hint of twisted innocence.
Check out an interview with Dez here, and details can be found at www.suru-la.com.
